OWNERSHIP HISTORY

July 21, 1965 — AR752507 leaves the Alfa Romeo factory.

January, 1966 — AR752507 becomes a 'GTA corsa' as Autodelta completes work transforming it into a full-on, factory-prepared race car.

February 2, 1966 — AR752507 is sold to Alfa Romeo, Inc, the U.S. importer and distributor for Alfa Romeo cars. The GTA is brought to the United States to take part in the SCCA's newly announced professional road racing series, The Trans-American Championship.

February, 1966 — AR752507 is purchased by Alfa Romeo dealer Baker & Heijn, White River Junction, VT. Baker & Heijn sponsored the car during the inaugural season of Trans-Am competition. It finished 3rd in the U2 class at the first-ever Trans-Am race, held at Sebring International Raceway on March 25, 1966. Following the 1966 racing season AR752507 was advertised for sale. In the first part of 1967, the car was sold to noted road racer Gaston (Gus) Andrey, who had co-driven a GTA with Horst Kwech in the Trans-Am series, during 1966.

Early 1967-May, 1970 — AR752507 is owned by Gaston Andrey. Little is known of the car's activities during 1967-8, but it was not apparently raced in Trans-Am during those years. Andrey won the 1970 Trans-Am U2 event at Lime Rock Park in May, 1970 and subsequently sold the car to well-known Porsche racer Bert Everett.

May, 1970 through 1971 — AR752507 is owned and raced with much success in the SCCA Trans-Am Series by Bert Everett.

1972-1975 — AR752507 is owned by Bob Cozza's BOBCOR Motor Car, Ltd. in Williamsville, NY. BOBCOR sponsored Bert Everett during the 1972 Trans-Am season.

1975-1984 — AR752507 is purchased in February, 1975, by Canadian club racers John Demaria and Jeff Bateman. The car was raced in the CASC Bulova Series in 1975-76, then remained in storage until offered for sale in 1984.

1984-present — AR752507 is purchased in 1984 by Ken Geiger of Toronto, Canada, with the intention of eventually restoring the car to Trans-Am specifications. A complete, ground-up restoration was carried out by Roman Tucker of Roman Auto Prep, Attica, MI, between 2009-11. A fully-restored AR752507 made its debut at the 2011 Grand Prix Festival of Watkins Glen. In 2012, AR752507 was present at the Waterford Hills Vintage Races, Trans-Am Reunion (exhibition laps only) on July 30, 2012. Also that weekend, it appeared in a special Under-2-Liter Trans-Am exhibit group at The Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's (formerly known as The Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance). In September, 2012, AR752507 returned to New York's Finger Lakes region to join in the Grand Prix Festival of Watkins Glen and in June , 2013, she took part in the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio.
